NIACC baseball will be the third seed in this week’s Region XI Tournament after Southeastern’s sweep of Iowa Lakes on Sunday.
Southeastern (15-9) topped Iowa Lakes 10-5 and 5-3 to top NIACC (14-10) in the conference standings by one game. The first and second seeds in the tournament get a first round bye in the double elimination tournament.
The Trojans will start the tournament on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo. They will play against the winner of the Kirkwood-Iowa Lakes play-in game, which will be played earlier that day.
