NIACC women’s basketball signs three more

MASON CITY, Iowa – NIACC women’s basketball has signed three players in the past week for next season.

The Trojans added one of Minnesota’s top scorers in Kadejah Young from Minneapolis.  Kadejah averaged 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists for Minneapolis Roosevelt High School this past season.

Almost five months after signing with NIACC volleyball, Lindsey Samson has also committed to the NIACC’s women’s basketball team.  Out of Cavalier, North Dakota, Samson averaged 8.5 points, five rebounds, and two assists per game for Cavalier High School last season.

NIACC also inked Lateeka Thompson out of Burnsville, Minnesota.  Thompson averaged seven points and four assists for Burnsville High School, and will look to bolster the inside game for the Trojans.

NIACC is replacing five sophomores off of last year’s squad.  So far, NIACC has eight commitments for next year.
