WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa – No. 14 NIACC dropped two conference games at Southeastern on Saturday, losing 2-1 and 6-2.

In game two, Southeastern broke a 2-2 tie with a four-run bottom of the sixth.  Southeastern’s Zach Nichols hit two homeruns in the game, with one of those coming in the sixth.

Tyler Peterson (So., Eden Prairie, MN) had NIACC’s only multiple hit game in the second game with two.  He and Hunter King (Fr., Mason City, IA) both had doubles in that game.

NIACC will play Southeastern again on Sunday.  Southeastern is only a game behind NIACC for second in the conference.  League-leading DMACC (33-11, 13-1) won both of their games against Ellsworth (20-21, 5-11) on Saturday, and leads NIACC by three games.
