GRINNELL, Iowa – NIACC freshman Trent Smith (Charles City, IA) qualified for the US Junior Outdoor Track and Field National Championships after finishing the 10,000-meters in 32:29.50 at the Dick Young Classic.
The standard to qualify was 32:45.00. The Junior Nationals, which features athletes from ages 14 to 20, will be held in Bloomington, Indiana on June 15-17.
