MASON CITY – Around 1:00 pm Sunday, the Mason City Fire Department and Mason City Police were dispatched to a two vehicle accident at 15th Street and South Federal.
Mr. Carpenter, from Floyd County, said, “She hit me. I had the green light, going east. She must have been looking the other way.”
A female driver from Franklin County was driving the van northbound. She was examined, then taken to Mercy Medical Hospital by Ambulance with chest pains.
There was minimal damage done to the vehicles.
Mason City Police were at the scene directing traffic and got the vehicles moved within fifteen minutes.
Shocking. Floyd and Franklin…you could knock me over with a feather.
