MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine military said two people were killed Wednesday by a bomb in a passenger bus the southern region.
Five people were also wounded in the explosion in the Rural Transit bus in Carmen town in North Cotabato province, south of Manila, battalion commander Lt. Col. Benjie Hao said.
Hao said an earlier death toll of 10 in an initial field report was later corrected.
