IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa today said that construction of a new 10-story residence hall will begin this summer.
“Construction is scheduled to begin this summer on a 10-story west campus residence hall located at the corner of Grande and Byington, near Rienow, which will be Iowa’s first new res hall since 1968. The 59,000 square feet of new residential space will house multiple living-learning communities, as well as standard double- and single-occupancy rooms. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2015.”
