MASON CITY – Shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday a Mason City police officer made a traffic stop after reportedly observing a small baggie containing marijuana being thrown onto the roadway from a vehicle in the 1400 block of 3rd Street South East.
As result of the traffic stop following the alleged littering one of three occupants in the vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Sebastian Codd Osburn of Mason City, was arrested and charged with a serious misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.
Osburn was transported to the Cerro Gordo County jail following the incident where he remained on a $1000.00 cash or surety bond Thursday night.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

He’s not a dumb a##. He was one of 3 that were a part of it . When did North Iowa Today become an insult page. He isnt from beje clark.He didnt litter the kid driving littered. He was the passinger of the car. The litter was on the driver’s side of the car. He is a good kid. He made a mistake and people that insult other people like him should keep there rude comments to themselves. All u are are just BULLIES.
He may not have littered, we don’t know that, we were not there. However, who you choose as friends, and where you hang out, is just as important as the act itself.
I know for a fact he didnt litter he’s my son. Him and his girlfriend that were in the car with the guy that was driving told me. This news paper should get the story straight before it posts an article about a young kid that a lot of people will read. Espically his family that love and care about him!
He has always been a good kid when I knew him…everyone makes mistakes. He shouldn’t of been the only one arrested.Hang in there kido hope everything gets worked out.
He was scared number one, and at least he wasn’t drinking and driving. Maybe this is his lesson learned.
Since he was one of three in the car, I am glad that his buddies ratted him out. Get them off the street.
I wish they would send these work want to be’s from Beje Clark over to my house to pick up the McDonald wrapers, cups and garbage that have blown into my yard over the winter.
