AMES, Iowa – The nationally ranked Iowa State men’s basketball team is poised to make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005 and the Iowa State Athletics Department is inviting all Cyclone fans to share in the excitement of Selection Sunday.
Iowa State will host a Selection Sunday gathering, March 11 at Hilton Coliseum and all Cyclone fans are welcome to attend in the celebration. Doors will open at 4 p.m., and fans can watch the 68-team field unveiled on the giant videoboard along with the Cyclone players and coaching staff.
With the anticipation of a live look-in feed from CBS, fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Cardinal colored apparel. The CBS selection show begins at 5 p.m.
Admission is free for the event. Concessions will not be available.
