Paul Walsh, Star Tribune, Minneapolis –
Motorists in one part of Bloomington are being pelted with objects as they drive, with the most recent incident leaving the victim with serious facial injuries, police said Wednesday.
Police said this is at least the sixth such incident in the past month.
On Monday, a man driving south on Normandale Boulevard, about a half-mile south of 84th Street, was hit in the face by a vise that busted through his windshield, police said.
Authorities have yet to determine whether the items are being thrown from other vehicles or by pedestrians.
