northiowatoday.com is VERY wrong on this. there was NO TEEN involved AT ALL!!!!!!! both women were in their 50s. anything to get a rise, huh northiowatoday.com? might i suggest you remove this article before you get in some trouble???

At this point he is charged with Willful Injury which carries a ten year prison sentence.

In addition he is charged with burglary 1st degree which carries a twenty year prison sentence.

Right now he is being held on 45,000 bond. I bet in about two weeks suddenly the bond requirement will be dropped.

He will pled not guilty and the DA will forget they are hear to serve the interest of the victim (not the criminal). They will give him a plea deal dropping the burglary and amending the willful injury to a serious domestic and he will get time served.

Don’t believe me, pay attention to our court system. Our district attorney’s office does more for the criminals then their own lawyer.

it was not a misprint. there were TWO females involved. the globe did not write about the 15 year old. just the 50 year old. read again.

i agree about the judges not giving the correct punishment for crimes. people can basically get away with ANYTHING accept for minor incidences such as speeding tickets and other misdemeanors. ridiculous!

It is offensive to call any form of domestic violence a domestic spat. A spat is arguing about who should do the dishes not a situation that requires an ambulance call.

Globe Gazette says a 50 year old woman, nothing about a 15 year old girl…..misprint im thinking.

i live right across the street and KNOW FOR A FACT that there were two females and one male involved.

Good work by our local judges, NOT! It’s beyond me why these judges continually let criminals off of the hook so easy. Is it because the judges are afraid to hand down an appropriate sentence and worried the offenders will seek revenge. If so, the bench isn’t a place for you. Public safety should be the primary interests of all judges!!

I’d love for this puke to take a swing at me. Unfortunately, I’m not a 15 year old girl, so it probably won’t happen.
