CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Preston Brunz scored 22 points for #2 Kirkwood in a 100-58 win over the NIACC Trojans Wednesday night.
Devan Douglas added 11 points for the Eagles, while Eddie Denard, Matt Tiby, and Kasey Semler all scored 10 points. Kirkwood controlled the boards by outrebounding NIACC 51-23.
The Trojans, now 14-13 and 5-6 in the ICCAC, were paced by Nathan Brandt (Fr., Burlington, WI) with 12 points. Chris Davis (Fr., Colorado Springs, CO) and Chris Throne (So., Lake Mills, IA) both scored 10 in the loss.
NIACC will be off until next Wednesday when they travel to Boone to play No.12 DMACC.
