(DES MOINES) – Gov. Terry E. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds today released the full menu slated for tonight’s welcome dinner with Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping. The menu features Iowa cuisine from start to finish, showcasing some of the best food and beverages Iowa has to offer.
The meal will follow an 8 p.m. toast from both Gov. Branstad and Vice President Xi. Approximately 650 individuals are expected to attend, including 160 from the Chinese delegation.
