Some of the council could learn something from Sandy. Is Janet really not responding to emails? That tells me she is not concered with the city and is only rideing out her term. I wonder if she knows she could just step down and let someone who really cares fill her seat. I feel her only concern was to pave the roads in her run down neighbor hood. And that didn’t work!!!

I never one time witnessed any incident that warranted an apology from Sandy to any city council person nor the Mayor. Several of them should be apologizing to her, especially our mayor for having a police officer force her from the public podium. A disgraceful act.

Matt, that incident really concerns me, the ability to address those who represent us, is as basic a right as one can find in America.

The change may have been to create some continuity, but with all due respects, a lot of people felt a ‘chilling effect’ instead.

Sandy certainly doesn’t owe Solberg an opology especially one for not showing up to do her job. Solberg is a fourth ward council person who repeatly has failed miserably in her job discription. Solberg needs to know tht this city is not a giant cash register for her to sell insurance to. If this council wants to enact new ordinances enact one that completly bsrs any council person from directly or indirectly profiting in any transaction involving this city. Let me give you an example of what I mean; If Solberg currently writes insurance for a company that hauls trash, then tells that company;; I’ll get you a contract to haul city trash….that is profiteering. And to add to the complicity if Bookmeyer said to her, “you vote with me on all issues and I will help you in anyway I can by working towards your best interests…well we all know what that is.

Peter. If what you are saying is true. Where is your proof? Please bring it forward. Otherwise I would say that I think you are a bitter man for whatever reason who is borderline slanderous. The article is about Sandy Servantez. I applaud Sandy for her statements. It just goes to show you people are people and you should treat them the way you would want to be treated. Thank you Sandy. Maybe Peter and NIT should learn from your example. Sandy watch out you keep doing things like this and you will be next on their hitlist.

Janet is the one to apologise, she does not reply to any messages sent to her from her continets

It was wonderful watching the body language of some of the council members while Sandy was speaking. When someone is listening to you they will lean toward you and make eye contact. They will also open their body stance. The only people who did that at the council table were John Lee and Scott Tornquist. The others either didn’t look at her or leaned away from her. It was very telling about who cared about what she was saying.

Nice of you Sandy. But really you wouldn’t catch one of them EVER being that real or kind. EVER. So Don’t be too quick there’s a whole lot more to come from the haters of good decent common sensed filled people. See Solbergs face?

what happened, what is she apologizing for?

I was disrespectful when talking to Janet. I stand behind what I said about her attending the CES meeting. I just don’t like how I came across.
