fundraiser for a dead horse, downtown
Actually, it’s a downtown that has one of the highest occupancy rates in the state, has one of the best collections of period architecture in the state, has more retail space than Des Moines, and produces more property tax revenue for the City (per acre) than any other area of the City. And before anyone asks, no I am not Marty Walsh.
That should have been more retail space than downtown DES Moines.
fund raiser for what or whom?
Main Street Mason City.
I will be there!!! Hope your mayor aint there, id like to taste a couple of them myself!! LOL
Valenwine event is another example of mthe Mason City keeping the working class of people out of what the so called elite style of living. when a person works for min. wages they can not afford twenty dollars for a taste of wine
It’s a fundraiser…the goal isn’t to lose money or break even.
Jim, if you cant afford it, I will pay your entry. It isnt for elite and it isnt for anything more then what it is… a FUNDRAISER! You dont do these to lose money or break even! Pull your head out from under that rock!
