ORLANDO, Fla. — The four Florida A&M University students who were charged last week with hazing members of the school’s marching band have been dismissed from the historically black university in Tallahassee, a FAMU official said Monday.
Vice President William Hudson Jr. told the board of trustees that the four — accused of either participating in or failing to stop the hazing of pledges who tried last fall to join a group affiliated with the clarinet section — have been dismissed. They will have an opportunity to challenge their dismissal before a university judicial committee, comprised of students and faculty, Hudson said.
