In the blink of an eye, the Globe Gazette splashed across the front page that the folks at CES had signed on with Lockheed Martin to provide their expertise and services . It was pointed out that they were going to provide the same method and technology as was being proposed here in Mason City. Sounds good but it was not true…..there had been nothing signed.
Everyone who is smart enough to pass the drivers test knows which side the local paper sits on…that is not a secret. What the paper, and those who work there should brush up on is job description. If they are going to work for Bookmeyer then they need to go to City Hall and fill out an employment application….if they are going to continue to inform the population in this area they need to study ethics and due diligence.
There is a lot of veribage in those articles, a lot of nine-dollar words that in the end only amount to small change.
