EAST PEORIA, Ill. – NIACC women’s basketball finished a three-game stint at the Illinois Central Christmas Tournament with a 64-44 loss to Kishwaukee College (IL) on Friday night. The Trojans (8-5) went 1-2 at the tournament.
Kishwaukee was in control throughout the game, entering halftime with a 33-19 lead and outscoring NIACC 31-25 in the second half.
Brittany Robinson (So., Shellsburg, IA) recorded her first double-double of her college career by scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The 11 points tied a career high for Robinson.
Jenna Morris (So., Radcliffe, IA), who had a double-double against Oakland Community College on Thursday night, had 11 points and six rebounds.
NIACC will begin conference play in Estherville against Iowa Lakes on January 4.
