NIACC Soccer: 12 named Academic All-Region

MASON CITY, Iowa – Twelve NIACC soccer players were given Academic All-Region honors by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), with six of those players earning 1st-Team honors.

Players who have a 3.5-4.0 grade point average were eligible to earn Academic 1st-Team All-Region. Jesse Sanders (So., Des Moines, IA), Milo Bruce-Burgess (Fr., Brokenhurst, England), Dan Johns (Fr., Plymouth, England), Simon Brown (So., Dublin, Ireland), Patrick Kinsella (So., Frimley, England) and Robert Escobar (So., Miami, FL) all earned that status from the ICCAC.

Six players with a 3.0-3.49 grade point average were named to the 2nd-Team. Alex Grimshaw (Fr., Bristol, England), Calum Nimmo (Fr., Fleet, England), Robert MacGillvray (So., Isle of Benbecula, Scotland), Mitch O’Connor (So., Kingston, England), Andrew Power (So., Waterford, Ireland), and Jake Plant (So., Birmingham, England) all earned those honors.
