EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Jenna Morris (So., Radcliffe, IA) recorded her first double-double as a Trojan to spark the NIACC women to a 68-61 win over Oakland Community College (MI) on Thursday afternoon. The Trojans (8-4) have won four out of their last five games.
Morris recorded 11 points and 15 rebounds in the win. Kika Greenlee (Fr., St. Louis Park, MN) scored 23 points to lead NIACC, and now has scored at least 20 in eight of 12 games this season. Sadie Pittman (So., Cape Girardeau, MO) and Jennifer Nelsen(So., Mason City, IA) both had 14-point performances.
This was NIACC’s second game at the Illinois Central Christmas Tournament. They will play their final game at the tournament tomorrow.
