EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The NIACC women’s basketball team lost to 17th-ranked Jefferson County Community College (MO) 77-59 in their first game at the Illinois Central Christmas Tournament. The loss dropped the Trojans to a 7-4 record.
Kika Greenlee (Fr., St. Louis Park, MN) led the Trojans with 27 points, and Jennifer Nelsen (So., Mason City, IA) added 16 points.
NIACC will play their second of three games at the tournament on Thursday at 4 p.m.
