A Tuesday afternoon traffic stop of a suspended driver on Main Street by Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Deputy Frank Hodak led to an arrest on multiple drug charges for a 22-year-old Mason City man previously convicted of drug dealing.
According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s incident media report Christopher Michael Grover of 112 12 Street NW, Mason City was charged with a possession of a marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of ecstasy, possession of mushrooms, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and no insurance.
Grover was transported to the Cerro Gordo County jail and booked in at 7:10pm. Grover posted bond a couple hours later, and has been given a date for an initial appearance in Cerro Gordo County Court.
Online court records show Grover was convicted in Cerro Gordo County on October 29th, 2007 for a class B felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Grover was sentenced to ten years in prison in the case in July of 2008 after violating probation.
