MASON CITY — Christmas light displays on 12th Street Northeast and 11th Street Northeast — both just east of Kentucky Avenue — are drawing amused onlookers from throughout North Iowa.
If you haven’t seen them, be sure to take a drive past. And don’t forget the amazing display by Dan Weitzel at 815 16th St. Northeast.
Thanks to him and hundreds of other people of goodwill, heartwarming Christmas displays can be found on just about every street in the region.
Of course, the best shining lights of the season are the ones illuminating a baby — a boy born into poverty who grew up in a loving family and set an example for all of humanity by the way he lived, and died.
Merry Christmas from everyone at NorthIowaToday.com!
Enjoy the sights of the season.
