MASON CITY – Senator Amanda Ragan and Representative Sharon Steckman presented Mason City’s Human Rights Director with a State of Iowa Certificate Of Recognition on November 3, 2011 for being named to the Iowa African American Hall of Fame.
The award was presented to Director Foster in recognition of his indoctrination and his 37 years of service to the Mason City Human Rights Commission.
“It was one of the most gratifying moments of my career to be awarded this honor by the Representative Sharon Steckman and Senator Amanda Ragan. It is truly a memorable moment to be presented with this award by these two outstanding legislators,” said Foster. Senator Ragan, and Representative Steckman can be reached for comments.
