A flyer from a group called the “Fraternal White Knights” was left on the doorstep of the Community Kitchen in Mason City. It was not known if other flyers were left around town.
The group claims to be “family oriented” and does “not advocate nor involve ourselves in hate crimes toward any race.”
The flyer also says “we are prepared to stand and defend our rights and ideals.”
Further, the flyer states that the group is “striving to change the stereotype that all klans are motivated by racial hate” and “other races are allowed to show pride but if a white man does he’s labeled a racist.”
