The northbound lanes of South Pierce Avenue between 6th Street SW and 4th Street SW will be closed to thru traffic for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, June 13th. This closure is necessary for the replacement of two sanitary sewer manholes and for work to be done on two segments of water main. This work is being done as part of the City’s annual Manhole Replacement and Water Main Reroute Program.
Please use an alternate route and allow for extra travel time. Do not enter work zones and use caution when driving near one. Questions may be directed to the Mason City Engineering Department by calling 421-3605.
