At 1:50 pm Saturday afternoon, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff assisted the Mason City Police Department in checking an area for Lewis Wayne McCray, a wanted criminal. McCray was apprehended and arrested on Mason City’s north side at 1313 N. President Ave. Besides waiting to be transported to prison, Lewis McCray will have court pending for absence from custody. There is no bond and $10,000 cash only bail.
