Mason City, IA – 6.1.2011 – Tracy Knebel has been named General Manager for the Historic Park Inn, Mason City, IA. Knebel has spent 8 years in the Mason City area, working in the hospitality and food service industry. With over 20 years of industry experience, Knebel will lead the team opening the Historic Park Inn, summer of 2011. Educated at the University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University, Knebel will be a welcome addition to the newly renovated Historic Park Inn.

The Historic Park Inn is presently undergoing a $20 million renovation and will have 27 guestrooms, 6700 square feet of multi use conference space, wine room, ladies parlor with balcony, billiards room and much more. The conference center will offer state of the art AV equipment, high speed internet and full service catering services. A 5 star restaurant will be on site, offering guests and local residents a fine dining experience.
The Historic Park Inn, a 100 year old historic building, was the dream of the internationally famous Frank Lloyd Wright, and is the last remaining Frank Lloyd Wright designed and built hotel in the world.
Stoney Creek Hospitality Corporation, headquartered in Mason City, will be the management company for the Historic Park Inn. Historic Park Inn will be the 13th property in this collection of hotels and the third brand in the chain.
