The quartet of Ryan Voves, Aaron Sanchez, Sam Skogen and Coty Thompson ran a time of 3:32.32 and was less than a second behind the winning team from Cedar Falls High School, who ran a time of 3:31.54. The Mohawks were only two hundredths of a second behind second place Central Lincoln High School.
The Mohawks may have had a slight disadvantage, running in heat #1. The two teams ahead of them ran in the third heat.
