The Mohawk girls track team is headed to Des Moines to compete in the Drake Relays. Three events are qualified for the Mohawks.|The Mohawk girl’s track team is headed to Des Moines to compete in the Drake Relays this weekend. Three events are qualified for the Mohawks: Long jump, high jump and the 4×100 meter relay.
Tyler Ketelsen, Mohawk Assistant Girls Track Coach, says the teams goals are to “compete hard and have fun, hopefully get some PR’s.”
Ketelsen said the competition will be tough. “It will be fun to compete against some of the best athletes in the state.”
