Vandalism in Mason City reported

At 8:15 am, there was call of vandalism done to 234 9th St NW.† The resident said it wasn’t anything big, that he didn’t press any charges.† He just wanted the police to come and get a report so that it†could be documented.

At 9:40 am, there was a report made of vandalism to 405 21st SE.† On April 10th of this year, this house had an electrical fire, leaving the place empty.† The neighbor checks on the house and when he went over to check this morning he saw a man in a orange hoody in the house. The subject, when spotted, allegedly then ran out the back door and down the alley.† When the subject was in the house he had taken the jello out of the refrigerator, dumped it on the floor and threw it on the mirrors.† He also dumped some on the counter and wrote obscenities in it.† The resident thinks he knows who it was, but can’t prove it.
