Mason City to chip in on Central Heights cleanup

The City of Mason City is chipping in $1,000 to help clean up a Mason City neighborhood.

Pat Otto, Mason City’s Neighborhood Development Specialist, wrote a letter to the Central Heights Neighborhood Association. The letter says the city will contribute $1,000 to the Central Heights Neighborhood Spring Cleanup Project that begins on May 9.

“I know the Mayor and the City Council are excited about this opportunity to assist you in financing your neighborhood project!” Otto said in the letter. |
