General Note:
McKiness will move their construction trailer into the City parking lot on the corner of 2nd Street NE and Federal. However, they will not store construction materials at this site. Again, all work start dates are ‘weather permitting’.

Week of April 11

McKiness
Work will continue between 2nd and 4th Streets on sanitary sewer cleanouts and water line connections. They will coordinate with individual businesses as water shutoffs are needed.

Federal Avenue will be closed to traffic between State and 1st Street beginning Monday as sidewalk work begins along the west side of the block
(Central Park side). Work on sidewalks along the east side of the block will follow. The remaining concrete work in the street around the manholes will be completed during this time.

Work in the plaza to replace an 18” storm sewer that runs east-west across the plaza will begin as soon as possible. No business interruptions are anticipated. Work will begin in State Street, north of the Park Inn Hotel, to replace the water main.

Wicks
Concrete sidewalk paving will follow the preparation work along the west side of Federal between State and 1st Street.

Work will continue on the masonry piers to complete the inner core.|
