Local North Iowan Seeking Pepsi Refresh Grant for Unemployed People

Mary J. Witherall, Focus Living Director and Life Transition Coach seeking public support for a proposed grant submitted to Pepsi Refresh Project. The Pepsi Refresh Project is an online grant program which makes available millions of dollars to be granted to projects which are intended to improve communities through an online, democratic voting process. The Grant Program is open to individuals, for-profit organizations and non-profit organizations. There are six different categories that grants are placed in and then once the application has met Pepsi’s requirements then it is submitted online for public vote. Mary has developed a program called Mindset Makeover ñ The Inner Game of Success for Unemployed People. This program is designed to help people who are unemployed, underemployed or unhappy with their current career or work. The program will help participants overcome self-imposed barriers and obstacles that keep people stuck and from taking action. The grant, if awarded will provide six 4-week workshops with ongoing coaching support with participants for one year. It will introduce a mindset, a belief system that will enhance their confidence and belief in themselves so that they can achieve their personal career goals.
