Teen cited in two-vehicle accident that left three injured

cited-police-featured1MASON CITY – A Mason City teen was cited after pulling into on-coming traffic and causing a two car accident that sent three people to Mercy hospital.

According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:00 PM Friday night, April 10, deputies responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 65 Northbound and 300th Street. A 2003 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Timothy Enderson, age 54, of Manly was Northbound on Higway 65 when a Blue 2000 Volkswagon Jetta, driven by Bria Miller, age 18, of Mason City entered the roadway. Enderson’s vehicle collided with Miller causing extensive damage. Miller’s passenger was Morgan Lovik, age 18, also of Mason City.

Enderson, Miller, and Lovik were all transported to Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa by private means. Their injuries were non-life threatening. Miller was charged with Fail to Yield Upon Entering through a Highway.
