MASON CITY – A Man listed by Mason City police as one of their most wanted individuals was arrested Friday night in the Cultural Crescent.
Police responded to an incident at the Manor Apartments, 4 3rd Street NW, at about 9:45 PM Friday. Police at the scene said there was a domestic incident inside the building. Several officers were on hand, and soon, they were seen taking a man out of the building in handcuffs, later identified as Jason A. Garcia, age 38. Garcia is a wanted felon whom police consider dangerous. He was charged with serious domestic assault in the Friday evening incident. He was also wanted on warrants for parole and probation violations connected to a felony assault.
Garcia is being held in jail on no bond at this time.
