MASON CITY – NIACC sophomores Jaycob Payne and Nick Wurm both earned all-NJCAA Region XI honorable mention honors.
Wurm was also an honorable mention all-region pick as a freshman.
Payne and Wurm are the 26th and 27th all-region performers for NIACC coach Mark Mohl, who recently completed his 10th season.
Wurm averaged 16.5 points per game with 54 3-point goals. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds per game with 100 assists and 38 steals.
Payne averaged 10.4 points per game and averaged 8.0 rebounds per game, which was second in the ICCAC. Payne also had 73 assists and 30 steals.
