A Mason City police officer conducted a traffic stop after midnight on Sunday, March 11 near the 1500 block of 4th Street SE. After an investigation, the driver, 30-year-old Nicholas Dean Mostrom of Clear Lake was found to be driving with a revoked license. Mostrom had been caught in Mason City back on November 11, allegedly drunk driving. He also allegedly had methamphetamine and marijuana in his possession. He was jailed and soon released.
