DES MOINES – A left-leaning Iowa political website is reporting today that Republican Iowa Senator Bill Dix, who was ensnared in the costly sexual harassment fiasco that cost taxpayers dearly, was caught on video in a cozy bar encounter with a lobbyist.
IowaStartingLine.com had the report today, showing video of Senate Majority Leader Bill Dix “in a romantic relationship with a Statehouse lobbyist while out at a Des Moines bar. The evening the two were together happened on Thursday, March 1 at Waveland Tap on University Avenue.”

According to his website, Bill Dix is a married man with 3 children. In January, protestors picketed his Shell Rock home for his decision not to release findings into a sexual harassment fiasco in the Iowa Legislature that cost taxpayers $1.75 million to settle after Republicans in the Senate GOP caucus – which Dix is involved in – were accused of mis-behavior.

Headline says “sexual harrassment” but it looks pretty mutual to me.
The headline refers to at least two separate incidents.
He just resigned, both from his leadership position and from the Senate itself.
The fact that he’s married, with children, is morally bad enough. That this is a lobbyist is ethically bad enough. That this happened in a public place is just plain moronic! At the very least, he’s too stupid to hold a job, much less public office!

What he did was immoral and wrong, there you go… the difference is when Bill Clinton does the dirty with Monica, you say “everyone has sex, it doesn’t have anything to do with his job, ” and on and on. When a republican does it you are outraged. That is the deflection on your side.
