Nickalos McDaniel, 75, of Charles City, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Hauser Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Nick McDaniel, son of Clyde and Irene (Brewer) McDaniel, was born on October 19, 1942. He was brother to Phil, Mary, Cathy, Linda, Clyde, Patty, Howard, and Marty. Nick’s activities (when he was not doing carpentry) were hanging out with friends and family, playing pool, fishing, trapping, wild game hunting, mushroom, and asparagus hunting.
In his second marriage to Judy (Perry), he fathered Travis and Tonia (Mike Munshower) and has one granddaughter, Tiffany Woodword. Recently, he drove to scout out for wildlife for his enjoyment before heading to the local bar to visit friends and he did weekly visits to the family bar to play pinochle and cribbage with his sisters.
