NIACC’s Willert signs with Grand View

MASON CITY – NIACC women’s basketball player Kelsie Willert signed a national letter of intent Friday morning to play next season at Grand View University.

Willert will play for former NIACC player/coach Kelli (Terrell) Greenway, who will take over as head coach next season at Grand View.

Willert, who prepped at St. Ansgar, averages 6.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the No. 13 Lady Trojans.

Willert has 448 career points (48th on school’s career list), 92 career 3-point goals (12th on school’s career list), 88 career assists (41st on school’s career list) and 62 career steals.

Note: Kelli (Terrell) Greenway (2003-05) ranks 11th on NIACC’s career 3-point list with 95 3-point goals.
