MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s basketball team dropped a 78-49 decision to Kirkwood in an ICCAC contest Wednesday night in the NIACC gym.
Kirkwood (19-4 overall, 8-0 in the ICCAC) was led by Doug Wilson with 27 points. Wilson, who was 13 of 14 from the field, also collected eight rebounds with two assists and two blocks.
Kirkwood pushed its winning streak to 10 games.
NIACC (14-10, 1-6) was led by Orrington Hamilton and Jalen Smith with 14 points apiece.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at Iowa Central.
