Charles City fight leads to arrest of wanted man on felony charge

CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City responded to a fight in progress and one of the combatants allegedly attacked an officer.

The incident took place February 2, 2018. Charles City police resounded to a report of a fight in progress at the 700 block of Riverside Drive. After an investigation, 34-year-old Kjoe Joseph was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, interference with official acts and felony assault on a peace officer with intent to cause serious injury.

Joesph was jail and soon released. He is due in court February 16. Joseph is now in jail in Clark county, Iowa, where he was wanted on probation violation charges connected to an incident involving drunk driving an multiple charges of child endangerment.
