5 Musical Acts to Watch in Iowa This December

Are you looking for a fun way to spend the run-up to Christmas this year?  If so, we’ve got you covered.  There are some great music events happening in Iowa this December, and tickets are still available for all of those we’ve covered.  So, continue reading for a list of who’s appearing in the state, and then head on over to Ticketmaster, or the venue’s website, to snap up your tickets before they all sell out.

21 Savage – Numb The Pain Tour

American Rapper, 21 Savage, is playing at the 7 Flags Event Centre in Clive on the 5th December.  General admission tickets are available for $30 while VIP passes can be purchased for $75.  A meet and greet package is also available for $150.  If you’ve ever wondered what 21 Savage actually stands for, Savage himself said that “21, that’s my gang, that’s my crew. Joe Nichols

American country music star, Joe Nichols, will be playing at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids on the 28th December.  Standard admission tickets are still currently available for $37.50 each.  Joe has released eight studio albums since he first hit the scene in 1996 and his new tour will see him sing songs from his latest album Never Gets Old, as well as some classic hits.

Sara Evans

Sara Evans is a country music singer and songwriter, and like Joe Nichols also has eight albums under her belt.  She will be performing at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines on the 14th December at 8 pm.  Standard admission tickets start at $32.00 and a VIP experience is available for $172.00.  Sara Evans’ show is especially suited to those who want to get into the holiday mood, as she’ll be singing a number of seasonal hits.

Big Church Night Out

Ever wanted to head to church with your favorite Christian artists?  If so, you’re in luck as the Big Church Night Out offers just that.  Hitting Iowa on the 10th December in the Tax Slayer Center, Moline, Jody Davis, Jeff Frankenstein, Duncan Phillips, Michael Tait, and many of their friends will be playing some fantastic Christian music for all who attend.  From rock, to pop, and even some rap and hip-hop, there’ll be plenty to keep you entertained.  Tickets are available from just $12.

Jim McDonough

Iowa born and bred, Jim McDonough will be playing his beautiful piano tunes at the Five Flags Center on the 9th December.  Tickets start at just $27.00, with tickets close to the stage being $47.00. On the Holiday Grande tour, Jim and his orchestra will be playing all the Christmas hits that we know and love, and it’s the perfect way to get into the true spirit of the season.  This is a show you won’t want to miss!
