CHARLES CITY – A man was arrested after he allegedly took Chinese meals by shoplifting a business in Charles City this week.
The incident took place on October 17 at about 4:29 PM, when Charles City police
encountered 44-year-old Tracy Humbert. He was arrested for fifth-degree theft after police took a report of someone taking two Chinese meals from a business in the 900 block of Kelly Street.
Humbert was jailed and soon released, pending a court date in November.
Humbert is also facing undisclosed charges from the Charles City police department brought on September 8.

He’s also been around NE Iowa scamming people out of money. Tells his dad died and has to get down south for funeral. Known to ask churches and other places, like Legions, for money. Watch out!!!
