EMMETSBURG, IOWA – A Northern Iowa couple is headed to prison for dealing meth.
Two Graettinger residents were recently sentenced in United States District Court on charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine stemming from a 3.5 month investigation by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
Matthew Lee Hunefeld, age 55 of Graettinger was sentenced to 42 months imprisonment. Susan Elaine Rice, age 53 of Graettinger was sentenced to 60 months imprisonment.
These charges were filed in August of 2016 when arrest warrants were issued and additional charges were filed after the execution of a search warrant at Hunefeld’s residence in Graettinger.
