NIACC scored its two runs in the third inning. Shelby Low hit a solo home run and Shayley Vesel drove in a run with a single.
It was Low’s second home run of the regional tournament. She also hit a 2-run home run against DMACC in opening round on Tuesday.
Morgan Thesing-Ritter and Jenni King also added singles for the Lady Trojans in the third inning.
Northeast CC plays either DMACC or Iowa Central in an elimination game at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
