Clear Lake woman guilty of stealing – again and again

CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake woman has been ordered to serve over two weeks in jail for her latest theft conviction.

Mollie Kathleen Macdormott, age 32, pled guilty on February 7 to a charge of fifth-degree theft after a crime she committed in Clear Lake on January 9, 2017. A judge sentenced her to 15 days in jail with $185.00 in court fees and charges.

MacDormott was charged with fifth-degree theft after an incident on December 12, 2016 in Clear Lake. After a guilty plea on February 2, she was sentence to 7 days in jail.

Macdormott is currently facing an assault charge in Mason City and was recently caught stealing at several stores there.
