FORT DODGE – A scary situation unfolded this weekend as a man took a yelling, tied-up woman out of a Fort Dodge house in a kidnapping attempt that was foiled by police.
On January 28th, 2017, at approximately 4:26 AM, a call was received through the Webster County Law Enforcement Center of a possible kidnapping. The caller stated that a vehicle pulled into the driveway of a residence and the caller saw a female with her hands bound and she was yelling for help.
Officer’s were dispatched to the area and located a vehicle matching the description given by the caller. The Officer activated his emergency lights to stop the vehicle and it refused. A short vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle finally came to a stop near the intersection of Floral Avenue and N 15th Street.
Reino Bodady was arrested and charged with Kidnapping 3rd Degree-C Felony. Due to the quick assistance of a Fort Dodge citizen, officers were able to quickly take Bodady into custody without further incident.
Bodady may incur additional charges pending further investigation.
