WEST DES MOINES – An Iowa couple is behind bars today after a police investigation led authorities to charge them with the murder of their teen daughter.
On Monday, October 24, 2016 at 8:00 PM, West Des Moines Emergency Services were dispatched to 805 15th Street. Emergency responders assisted with lifesaving measures on 16 year old Natalie Jasmine Finn until she was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
The West Des Moines Police Department and the Department of Human Services initiated an investigation with the assistance of the Polk County Attorney’s Office. During the course of the investigation an autopsy was performed and over thirty interviews were conducted. Additionally, a search warrant was conducted at 805 15th Street on November 2nd, 2016.
As a result of the investigation Natalie Finn’s mother and father were arrested on December 8th, 2016 on the following charges:
Both Nicole Finn and Joseph Finn II are currently being held at the Polk County Jail.
The West Des Moines Police Department will have no further information to release in regards to this case until the completion of all court proceedings.
